We pour and repair concrete around San Mateo, driveways, patios, foundations, walkways and retaining walls. Most of us got into this trade because we like the part where wet mud turns into something you can drive a car on for the next thirty years.
If you're on this page, there's a good chance you've already got a crack, a sinking corner, or a slab that never should have been poured the way it was. We start every repair by figuring out why it failed, bad base compaction, no control joints, roots under the edge, before deciding whether it's a patch or a full replacement. Fixing the symptom without fixing the cause just buys you the same crack again in a year or two.
None of this is complicated. It is mostly just doing what we said we would do.
Certificates are available on request before we start any job. That protects your property and ours if something unexpected happens during the pour.
We walk the site and measure it ourselves before giving you a number in writing, not a verbal guess. What we quote is what shows up on the invoice unless you change the scope.
We don't sub out the forming to one company and the finish work to another. The same guys who set your forms are the ones running the trowel, so nobody's guessing what the last crew meant to do.
Old slab, forming lumber and leftover base rock all leave with us, not you. You shouldn't have to rent a dumpster because we poured your driveway.
Concrete is weather-dependent, so we won't pour in a downpour or when frost is forecast overnight. Outside of that, we show up when we say we will and keep you posted if the forecast forces a change.
Bay Area clay soil expands and contracts more than people expect, and that's what causes a lot of the cracking we get called out to fix. Knowing that going in changes how we prep the base, not just how we finish the top.
